Great buyer's guide! I think you could add a couple of things to this, one is oil consumption especially in VTEC in the 2.0L models. Second, the DBW cars actually benefit from a tune so they don't run lean in VTEC. Specifically, DBW cars with Gernby's tune didn't have their valve clearances tighten like with the stock tune's.
